Come See NetScout at Management World

NetScout will be exhibiting at Management World in Orlando, Florida from Nov. 18 thru Nov. 20 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. We’ll be there talking about NetScout’s nGenius Performance Management Solution for IP-based Global Assurance.

Since the acquisition of Network General late last year, the NetScout team has been successfully executing on plans to integrate the combined products and technologies. The result of this work is a high performance solution for performing network analysis consisting of a tighter workflow between our proactive monitoring and reactive troubleshooting capabilities. At Management World, we’ll be talking about this Service Provider Solution and the improved streamlined, top-down, KPI-to-Flow-to-Packet monitoring and troubleshooting workflow:

• KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for proactive, early detection – Proactively detects service performance degradations and delivers service-aware views and early warning of anomalies before they can become subscriber-affecting problems
• Flow-based analysis to speed diagnosis – Utilizes flow-based analysis to provide service providers with a better understanding of performance as well as who and what are being affected by service degradations and faults
• Deep packet inspection for efficient troubleshooting – Combines the advantage of persistent capture and extended storage capabilities with a deep understanding of protocols and packets to help operators more quickly solve even the most complex problems

At Management World we’ll be explaining how, in support of these capabilities, nGenius® K2 utilizes KPIs to provide a service-aware dashboard views of, and alarming on, performance. You’ll also be able to see how nGenius Performance Manager enables flow-based proactive problem management. In addition, we’ll also be talking about how Sniffer® Mobile Intelligence is used for reactive advanced, packet-focused data mining and call correlation.  And finally, attendees can check out how the nGenius InfiniStream™ appliance provides persistent, 24X7 packet capture, packet storage, and analysis.
